PROFESSIONAL tattoo artist PORTFOLIOS
Beth Swilling (she/her)
Artist/Owner
I have always been drawn to the human form both as a subject and as a medium. Tattooing is the ultimate live art experience:
Tattooing is collaborative: by its very nature, tattooing requires participation from the client/collector as well as from the artist. Whether you know exactly what you want or don't have a clue, a process of discovery will always happen.
Tattoos are personal: because it is administered by a human hand (and not a machine), and worn on a human body, every tattoo is unique and means something to the collector. It conveys your message to the world without you having to say a word.
Tattoo art is interactive: once a piece is put into the skin, it moves within the community; it sparks up conversations between complete strangers; it is not stuck in a museum or on someone's wall like painting or sculpture.
I specialize in photorealism and illustration; although I do a plethora of botanical projects, I love almost any subject matter.

Susan Crofts (she/they)
Susan is an artist home grown in the Spokane area. When she’s not out in nature kayaking, hiking, and fishing with her fur babies, she can be found creating art inspired from the Inland Northwest.
She is an Eastern Washington University graduate of Fine Arts and Visual Communication Design. Her passion is in watercolor and pottery, but dabbles in many other mediums.
She found her niche in tattoo when she met her partner in 2019 and mentored under her. With the support and encouragement from her partner and friends, she followed her dreams of becoming a full-time artist. Her style is ever evolving as she explores translating her love of painting into her work as well as intricate details from her drawings. She has a broad range of interests from sci-fi and fantasy to mother nature’s many wonders.

I was trained in Seattle, under Lindsay Johnson (RIP) and can be traced down the lineage of Lyle Tuttle (RIP). I am proud to have completed a traditional apprenticeship, and have carried those values and skills throughout my career. This includes working in a clean and professional environment, taking care of the clients, designing quality pieces, and tattooing quality work. All while maintaining a respectful connection with those that chooses me to work on them.
While you're working with me, you can expect to have fun, while I poke you. Singing, laughing, and cracking playful jokes and puns is a common occurrence at my station. And it helps ease your anxiety and enjoyment with your time with me.
If I sound like a good fit, please hit me up and let's get something rad on you!

Anji Marth (she/her)
Anji Marth has been tattooing since the late 90s, but first learned to paint and draw from her uncle, David Borghi, a painter with work featured in the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD. His example inspired her creative freedom, and willingness to try new things.
In her over 20 years tattooing, she has worked at popular studios like Slave to the Needle and Laughing Buddha in Seattle, Washington as well as studios in Oregon and back east.
She specializes in landscapes, trees, and botanical subject matter and enjoys full color or black and grey. Stylistically, she loves to do soft, impressionistic work; bold woodcut illustration; and traditional pieces.
Anji develops fine art in a variety of mediums: pen and ink, oil and watercolor paints, and assemblages. Her award winning work has been featured in art publications and galleries along the West Coast. She is also published, with a horror coloring book currently available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble (with signed copies available at the shop!)
Follow her on instagram @resonanteye for more art!
